DESCRIPTION

Faced Duct Wrap Insulation is a highly efficient, flexible blanket insulation made from fine, stable inorganic glass fibers bonded together with a non-water soluble and fire-retardant thermosetting resin. It is free from coarse fibers and shot, and comes in semi-rigid wraps with densities ranging from 16 to 56 kg/m3 (1.0 to 3.5 lb/ft3). This insulation is flexible enough to be applied to irregularly-shaped surfaces, but also has rigidity properties for added stability.

APPLICATION

Faced Duct Wrap Insulation is suitable for use in commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction projects as thermal and acoustical insulation for heating, air-conditioning, and dual temperature ducts and air handling equipment. It helps prevent condensation when properly applied to air-conditioning ductwork. This insulation is easy to install and can help improve the energy efficiency of your heating and cooling systems.
