This is a description of a double deflection register, which is a type of air grille used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The frame is made of high-quality extruded aluminum with a standard flange width of 30 mm, but 12, 20, and 24 mm widths are also available. The blades are aero foil-shaped and made of aluminum. The spacing between the blades is 20 mm as standard. The damper frame and blades also have a high-quality extruded aluminum construction with a natural aluminum finish, but a black matt finish is also available as an option. The grille has two sets of parallel aero foil blades, one set mounted horizontally on the front and the other set vertically at the rear. The frame is separated from the aero foil deflection blades by nylon bushings for quiet and smooth operation. The deflection blades can be adjusted manually and individually to provide air deflection in both horizontal and vertical planes. The grille is fixed with an opposed blade damper and sealed with a foam gasket to avoid air leakage. Available finishes include natural anodized aluminum and powder-coated colors per RAL codes, and other finishing options are available. The model is ASR-H.
